Galician mussels in escabeche
The mussels are harvested sustainably in the sealife rich Galician estuaries. Ramón Peña uses seasonal produce only and artisanal methods that are forever being perfected thanks to an onsite laboratory. These large mussels are fried and marinated in escabeche, and are from the cannery’s coveted gold line. Delicious in a salad, in pasta, on toast with cream cheese and a parsley garnish and out of the tin.
