Large Galician mussels
Large mussels, harvested sustainably in the sealife-rich Galician estuaries. Ramón Peña uses seasonal produce and artisanal techniques (forever being perfected thanks to an onsite laboratory). The large mussels are fried and marinated in escabeche, and are from the cannery’s coveted gold line. Delicious in a salad, in pasta, on toast with cream cheese and a parsley garnish, and out of the tin.
